A cikin 1989, Gwamnatin Indiya ta kafa Dokar Motoci ta Tsakiya (CMVR). Dokar ta tanadi cewa duk motocin da ke kan titi, motocin gine-gine, motocin aikin gona da na gandun daji, da dai sauransu wadanda suka shafi CMVR dole ne su nemi takardar shaida ta tilas daga hukumar da ta tabbatar da ma'aikatar sufuri da manyan tituna (MoRT&H). Ƙaddamar da dokar ya nuna farkon ba da shaidar abin hawa a Indiya. Bayan haka, gwamnatin Indiya ta buƙaci cewa dole ne a gwada mahimman abubuwan aminci da aka yi amfani da su a cikin abubuwan hawa da kuma tabbatar da su.

Babu alamar da ake buƙata. A halin yanzu, baturin wutar lantarki na Indiya zai iya kammala takaddun shaida ta hanyar yin gwaje-gwaje kamar yadda aka tsara da kuma bayar da rahoton gwaji, ba tare da takardar shaidar da ta dace ba da alamar takaddun shaida.
